I bought it to wear on a trip to California but it was too cold to wear that day. The bathing suit looks great on me. I bought the violet color and it's quite sexy. Imagine, looking sexy on a 53-year old body! I'm a few pounds overweight and the suit covers the areas just where I need it. I never imagined finding a suit that I would absolutely love. I'm not sure if mine was defective or not but the skirt was not as long as the one in the picture and made my hips actually appear larger (I'm a size 4). Newport News didn't charge me to ship it back to them, but I'm out the cost of shipping it to me initially. All the reviews were glowing and that's why I purchased it.
